My light transforms. From the welcoming
opening scene of "The Water Engine" to the
trappings of the industry man's office, to the
secret workshop, to the science museum.
With absolutly no scenery changes, the
lighting transports the audience to these
locations and enhances the underlying
themes of the story-doom.
Unlike many designers, I believe that shadow, darkness
and the unseen is as important in designing lighting as any
other element.
